As most of you guys know, we are devoted followers of The Clean Program by Dr. Alejandro Junger. We participate in one to two 21-day cleanses per year, and try our best to loosely stick to the Clean guidelines the rest of the time. Hence why we are Spinach for Breakfast, a clean eating blog with a realistic balance. 😉
And honestly, balance is really what’s key. As amazing as we feel during the end of a 21-day Clean Cleanse, cutting out gluten, dairy, coffee, sugar, and alcohol completely is just too difficult to maintain. There are way too many restaurants in NYC we haven’t been to yet. And we love wine. 🙂
The nice thing is the Clean Program team gets this. That’s why they’ve come up with these mini 7-Day Clean Cleanses to get you back on track when you know you’ve fallen off the bandwagon.
What’s exciting is that the Clean Program has added a new antioxidant blend to their shakes! This blend includes ingredients specifically targeted to improve metabolism, help you feel fuller, produce healthy gut flora, reduce bloating, absorb more vitamins and minerals, and boost collagen (woo!).
What’s even more exciting is that we’ve collaborated with the Clean Program to create a 7-Day Smoothie Guide that fits all the criteria for the mini Clean cleanse! Here’s a peak at our Lemony Blueberry Mango Smoothie. You can find the rest of our smoothie recipes over on the Clean Program. 🙂
Please note this is not a paid or sponsored post. We back this program solely on the fact that it works for us.
