I have been a slave to masks lately. Not only do I put them on to improve my skin, but it helps me carve out a good 10-15 minutes of self-care, me time. 🙂
I go between natural masks that I buy and ones that I make at home. I like having a variety of options for various skin needs! One of my main staple ingredients for homemade masks is Manuka honey. Manuka honey goes beyond just a good raw honey. It’s from New Zealand and can only be made a few weeks out of the year when the Manuka plant is in flower. It’s actually been a focus of extensive research, largely due to the Methylglyoxal (MGO) found in it’s natural properties. I stick with certified, pure Manuka honey from Manuka Health MGO. Manuka Health is actually pioneering the research of Manuka honey’s impressive natural qualities, and they recommend up to three teaspoons daily for maximum benefit. Try using it as an alternative to refined sugar!

Effective against a wide variety of bacteria including antibiotic-resistant strains

Gives skin a soft luminous glow for a fresh youthful complexion
Below are three Manuka Honey masks for various skin needs! Each one contains two ingredients, so you can mix them up in a matter of minutes. Because Manuka honey is raw and textured, it also provides a nice gentle exfoliating aspect along with hydrating and softening your skin. It only takes a few minutes for some well deserve R&R a few times a week. 🙂

I love these ideas! can’t wait to try them out.
I’ve been using Manuka Honey on my face recently too and I love the results. My skin is definitely smoother and more moisturised. I used to have bumpy skin on my forehead, but not anymore!
That’s amazing! I have really been loving the mask I do one every few days!
