Three Manuka Honey Face Masks To Improve Your Skin

manuka honey face maskI have been a slave to masks lately. Not only do I put them on to improve my skin, but it helps me carve out a good 10-15 minutes of self-care, me time. 🙂

I go between natural masks that I buy and ones that I make at home. I like having a variety of options for various skin needs! One of my main staple ingredients for homemade masks is Manuka honey. Manuka honey goes beyond just a good raw honey. It’s from New Zealand and can only be made a few weeks out of the year when the Manuka plant is in flower. It’s actually been a focus of extensive research, largely due to the Methylglyoxal (MGO) found in it’s natural properties. I stick with certified, pure Manuka honey from Manuka Health MGO. Manuka Health is actually pioneering the research of Manuka honey’s impressive natural qualities, and they recommend up to three teaspoons daily for maximum benefit. Try using it as an alternative to refined sugar!
