Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink

Summer is coming (Game of Thrones voiceover).

Anyone in the Northeast is on a high right now that it is finallyyyy getting nice out. Every year in the beginning of June when it’s still not that warm I legit don’t think I’m going to make it. Then all of sudden it’s 85 and sunny, and I’m sitting outside at a restaurant with a cocktail in hand like, “what winter?”

With that comes the summer body panic. We go from chunky sweaters to shorts real quick in NYC, and year after year I’m just not fully prepared.

So what’s my secret? Guys, don’t tell anyone… but it’s this thing called eating really healthy and exercising. 😉 I wish there was a quick fix I really do, but we all just need to bite the bullet and do it if we want to be able to pull off a sexy one-piece this summer (legit, way harder than pulling off a two piece in my opinion).

I do however, have a little detox drink that will help you shed some extra lbs if you are already doing all the right things. Apple cider vinegar tastes like shit. Let’s try not to pretend. But, with the right recipe and a few additions you can turn it into the most amazing, refreshing apple cider-esque drink. Below is a quick list to catch you up to speed on why you want to drink this every day, maybe even twice a day, for the rest of your life.

Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits

Accelerates Weight Loss (*scientifically proven!)

Lowers Blood Sugar

Makes You Feel Full

Lowers Cholesterol

Helps Maintain an Alkaline pH Balance

Promotes Detoxification of the Liver

Improves Digestion

I drink this in the morning before work if I have time or at night after dinner to put a stop to my wanting to eat everything in sight. It’s super refreshing and the taste can be adjusted to however you like! We’ve got more summer detox recipes to come so stay tuned. 🙂
