What Luca Eats In a Day at 16 Months

I wanted to create a post on what Luca eats in a day to give you guys some new ideas! I’m not going to lie, Luca is a great eater. He does have preferences for sure (kid loves cheese), but overall he eats a really healthy, well-balanced diet of whole foods. I limit the pre-made things, but still buy them because let’s be real I’d rather throw Dr. Prager’s spinach bites into the oven instead of making that shiz myself. We do what we can. 🙂

Just to note, Luca also usually eats whatever I am making myself for dinner! Unless it’s spicy or sushi, he eats what we eat. That being said, I still HAVE to meal prep for him. His lunch and dinner foods are interchangeable, so I always have things prepped for his lunches that he can also have for dinner if I decide I’m having cereal. 😉

And a note on snacks. At this point in time (Luca is 16 months) I don’t give him puffs, crackers, baby cheeto things etc. for a snack. I tend to find that once these things are introduced, kids want “snack foods” over real food. The easiest way to avoid this is to just make their snack food, real food. Problem solved. 😉

Would also LOVE any new ideas from you guys! It’s easy to get stuck into a routine a making what we know.
