Soups are a staple during the Clean Cleanse, especially during the winter!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Clean Program’s 21- Day Clean Cleanse, one of the requirements is having a liquid dinner. This can be either a soup or a smoothie. However, in the winter it’s nice to have something warm. 🙂
And why the liquid dinner thing? According to the Clean Program, we digest liquid faster and easier than we digest solids. The less time and energy our body spends on digestion, the more it can spend on “detoxing” all the built up junk we have accumulated over the years. And believe me, you want that stuff out of your body for more than one reason.
So to start you off, here are our five all time favorite Clean Cleanse approved soups! These are all creamy, delicious, and husband approved. 😉 And if you happen to have a day without much going on, make a few of these and freeze them!
