Day 7 of the Clean Program’s 7-Day Clean Cleanse!
Since I am used to doing this cleanse for 21 days, one week was nothin 😉 Here is how it typically goes…
Day 1: This is fun.
Day 2: Damnit I could really use a coffee. I also can’t stop thinking about Skittles.
Days 3 & 4: I’m still a little low on energy, but getting the hang of it.
Days 5-7: I’m in a routine, I’m feeling good, and now I remember why I love this program 🙂
Overall, the best thing about the 7-day Clean cleanse is that you can kick some bad habits in only one week! For me, it’s typically sugar and snacking when I don’t need to. When my body learns that I don’t “need” these things, it helps me to better keep a realistic balance between eating clean and treating myself. What I did notice this time around is how thirsty I am! I am drinking water like crazy. I emailed one of the girls from Clean and she told me that because my body is releasing toxins, a natural thirst is triggered so it can flush what is coming out. Makes sense.
This Chocolate Avocado Protein Smoothie is definitely on the decadent side. It’s super creamy and delicious. I normally make this with banana, however because I was on the cleanse this week I just replaced the banana with frozen peaches.
Cleansing doesn’t look so bad now does it? 🙂
- 10oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein (or 1 Clean chocolate protein packet)
- 1 frozen banana (if cleansing use peaches or mango)
- 1/2 avocado, flesh scooped out
- 1 scoop of almond butter or natural peanut butter
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

Maria…I just started the detox today. I am still in the “this is fun/i can do this phase”, but idk how you can do this for 21 days!…Im going to make this shake for dinner tonight! Thanks for the post! -Gianine
Haha honestly the first few days is the hardest! It’s gets easier and then just becomes a routine 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions!
This smoothie looks so delicious! Would you happen to know the calorie/sugar count? I would love to make it and repost about it on my blog sweatyreviews.com!
Hi Erica! We typically don’t count calories, so I don’t know the information off hand. However, you can plug in the ingredients and portion sizes into My Fitness Pal (either the site or the app) and it will tell you. This smoothie will be higher in calories and fat than our other smoothies because of the avocado, but it’s healthy fat 🙂
Love your pictures! This looks so good!
The avacado makes this soooo creamy !
