The other night I was lying in bed watching Snapchat, and saw this semi-celebrity that I follow post that she just made her first smoothie. And my first reaction was like, I don’t understand? It’s 2016, who has never made a smoothie? But then I remembered not everyone revs up their blender in the morning. Like if my apartment caught on fire, I would first grab my Vitamix, then probably my Louboutins, then run out the door. Everyone has their priorities.
So today we are bringing it back to the basics. A smoothie so simple and delicious, that those of you who are new to the liquid greens will love it. For more ideas, take a look at our other smoothie recipes. 🙂

I have made this exact smoothie before, and it is one of my favourites and a go-to!!!
Also, I wanted to let you know that your blog posts are so funny… I love the little jokes and sarcasm!!
Thanks girls 🙂
Haha Thanks Melanie! 🙂
What a beautiful color and all natural! I used to drink a shake ever morning ever since I work from home and slowed down, I don’t make them as often since I have more time to make my breakfast without rushing. I will give this one a shot however, Cheers!
Very beautiful and inspiring food ideas. Well done!
Thank you Caroline!
What exactly is a Scoop? Am I looking at something around 1/4 cup, 2 tablespoons, and Ice Cream scoop?
Thanks
Hey Dave, thanks for asking- I def didn’t clarify. So when I say a “scoop of protein” I just mean use the little scooper that comes with your protein, i think it’s around 1/4 cup? Scoop (with a K) is an actual brand of protein that we really like. Here is the link if you want to check it out https://healthyskoop.com
