Peanut Butter Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

To be honest I’m not as pumpkin crazed as some people are in the fall. That being said, I always make sure to get my pumpkin fix! There’s something about the crisp air, the turning of the leaves, and the arrival of scarf weather that makes me want to enjoy the season. Usually by this time of year I’ll find myself whipping up a cozy batch of Creamy Pumpkin Soup or Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. But with the heat wave that hit the East Coast the first week of October this year, I knew that I needed a cooler way to enjoy the flavors of fall.

This Peanut Butter Pumpkin Protein Smoothie doesn’t need much of an intro. If you’re a skeptic, believe me when I say that pumpkin and peanut butter blend together to make the best sweet and nutty combo! With the warm flavors of cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice, it’s the perfect smoothie for this time of year. And, because it’s naturally low in sugar and full of protein and fiber, it’s healthy enough for breakfast and delicious enough for dessert! So put down that pumpkin spice latte and pick up one of these smoothies. I promise your taste buds will thank you.
